Confessions of a Part-time Call Girl. Essay

A self-proclimed call miss gives a expression into the life of harlotry. This is a slender volume -- merely about 150 pages, which instead surprised me. I expected it to be longer and, truth be told, much better than it was. It is reasonably much merely porn, and non even really good written porn. I was trusting the writer would discourse more of how she lead this dual life ( which she did touch on a small ) and how she justified it, particularly sing some of her clients were married work forces. I suppose I was trusting for a small compunction, a small guilt, something to admit that she was enabling these work forces to rip off on their married womans and that she, herself, was rip offing on her fellows. There is none of that in the book at all. At times she bemoans the fact that she ca n't hold a more emotional relationship with her clients, at others she seems to joy in the freedom she has with them. I suppose she could experience both ways at the same clip, but it seems to me as if she was still wrestling with some bigger issues. Weird material, written in the '80s.
