Fat Pig Diet Essay

I have been reading this on and off over the last 2 or 3 hebdomads aboard whatever else I have been reading. A diet book it is non! All the manner through MW says things like - listen to me I have lost over 3 rock - have you? Well yes I have - about 4 rock since sept - and I have n't been eating dismaying sums of caprine animals milk yoghurt, one minute and pigging out at The Ivy the following and yo-yo-ing all over the topographic point - which is fundamentally what he does throughout this book. There are some entertaining anecdotes in the book, and plentifulness of name dropping - good if anyone can acquire off with that so it is Michael Winner - but there is besides a certain sum of boredom in reading it. Michael Winner 's really typical voice tallies throughout this book, and if you did n't cognize who had written it so a page or two in and you could think. It is though more a book for people who like Michael Winner than who want to follow his diet which is eat what you want and eat less of it. I was impressed with his ability to pull off on vegetable juice and nuts, or a twosome of caprine animals milk yoghurts, raspberry 's and brown sugar for dinner ( when non dining in classy topographic points or vacationing someplace fabulous ) - I need a proper repast in the eventide ( and have lost weight holding one ) . Wholly useless as a diet book as he does n't compose the sums of nutrient he eats, and he eats stuff like lamb 's yoghurt and posh nosh the like of which I would n't cognize where to even purchase, allow alone how to cook it. But rather screaming to read, and gives a bantam penetration into the life of a famous person ( albeit a dead 1 ) , if you like that kind of thing.
