Soon after I kissed my hubby off to work, I logged on to amazon and downloaded Dickens 's authoritative narrative on my iPad 's kindle ( for loose ) and started reading it instantly. As I was reading it 's foreword, I HAVE endeavoured in this Ghostly small book, to raise the Ghost of an Idea, which shall non set my readers out of temper with themselves, with each other, with the season, or with me. May it haunt their houses cheerily, and no 1 want to put it. Their faithful Friend and Servant, C. D. December, 1843, I realized that I really had Dickens 's book sitting on the shelf of one my place libraries.
